About
"Therapy grants the opportunity to work with people in a way that fosters authentic connection."

Why I became a therapist
Being a therapist allows me to be my most genuine self and to encourage others to feel comfortable doing the same. Therapy grants the opportunity to work with people in a way that fosters authentic connection. In being a therapist, I find great responsibility in meeting clients wherever they are in their lives. It requires intentional consideration of history, environments, strengths, and any other factors that contribute to a person’s state of being. I am determined to walk alongside my clients in reaching their therapy goals and to provide empathy and curiosity along the way.

Who I work with
I work with people of various ages and backgrounds. The populations I work with most include teens, young adults, and adults. I have clinical experience working with life transitions, adjustment periods, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, grief, and family issues. I offer an affirming space for people of all identities to work toward their therapy goals. I use tenants of several modalities in my work; my approach pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory.

"In working with me, you can expect to find someone who will be in your corner throughout your therapeutic journey. I am truly interested in who you are, your life experiences, and your values."
Working With Me
I find the therapeutic relationship to be an important foundation for meaningful growth. For this to be the case, I provide a space that encourages mutual trust that remains free of judgment. In working with me, you can expect to find someone who will be in your corner throughout your therapeutic journey. I am truly interested in who you are, your life experiences, and your values. I believe all of these factors are extremely important in uncovering strengths and struggles alike. In our work together, I am committed to using evidence-based approaches in combination with a strong therapeutic foundation to work toward your therapy goals.
