Job Summary

The Scheduling Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient scheduling processes and ensuring compliance within our practice. This individual will be responsible for auditing clinician schedules, partnering with intake teams to communicate availability, and upholding consistent documentation and performance standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and has excellent communication skills.

Essential Functions

  • Regularly audit clinician schedules to ensure adherence to practice policies and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with the intake team to communicate clinician availability and optimize scheduling.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve scheduling conflicts or inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling documentation and performance records.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to improve scheduling workflows.
  • Provide administrative support related to scheduling as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit clinician schedules regularly to ensure compliance with practice policies and industry standards.
  • Work closely with the intake team to communicate clinician availability and optimize scheduling efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or inefficiencies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to enhance scheduling processes.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant legal, ethical, and operational standards.
  • Assist with administrative duties related to scheduling as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field such as Healthcare Administration, Business, or Psychology).
  • Experience: Prior experience in scheduling, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Proficiency in scheduling software, electronic health records (EHR), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistency and reliability in fulfilling job responsibilities.

Salary: $23/hour
