About
"My goal is for clients to feel empowered, gain a better sense of self & realize their resilience!"
Why I became a therapist
Hi! My name is Tiffany, and I became a therapist because I am passionate about the integration of mental health, physical health and wellness. I believe that our minds and physical bodies are all a part of one system, which is also known as embodiment - how the mind influences the body and how the body influences our thoughts, emotions and intentions. I’m here to help you figure out how to connect and take care of this system. This might include (but is not limited to) identifying and overcoming unhealthy patterns holding you back, processing challenging emotions, and better stress management. I aim to work with my clients to develop clear pathways to achieve personal and professional goals. I am committed to creating a space where you feel heard and supported.
Who I work with
I work with adults and adolescents who are struggling with issues related to identity and self esteem. I want to empower you and help you gain a better sense of self, understand your boundaries, broaden your perspective and improve your daily experience. In working together, we can address the makeup of your body, mind and soul and how they interact with one another. I am also dedicated to working with Asian-Americans that are adjusting to adulthood and forming their identities. In our work together, I want to address the many intricacies of these experiences as well as address the confusion that may occur while trying to blend cultures together.
"Together, we can create a beautiful, balanced lifestyle leading to an overall happier life."
Working With Me
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment in which my clients can be vulnerable, explore their thoughts, feelings and the events occurring in their lives. I want my clients to feel safe and empowered to say the things they have been too scared to address and maybe even told not to say. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel heard. In our work we will not only explore the benefits of talk therapy but also explore the integration of mind, body and the benefits of movement and exercise. Physical movement releases endorphins, or happy chemicals, that can help improve mental alertness and overall mood. Physical movement has also been used to alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that helps you achieve your highest level of functioning. Together, we can create a beautiful, balanced lifestyle leading to an overall happier life.
