About
"I provide a culturally sensitive therapeutic environment for individuals to process their experiences, heal from past wounds, and reconnect with their inner strength and passions."
Why I became a therapist
Hello! My name is Thalia (she/her/ella) and I’m a Latinx and Neurodivergent Therapist! I became a therapist because I want to help people work through and overcome their trauma and reclaim their voices, reconnect with their bodies, and find their passion in life. Through open and non-judgmental conversations, I guide my clients in exploring their core beliefs, aspirations, and what truly matters to them. Together, we navigate the process of aligning their actions and decisions with their authentic selves. Witnessing the transformative power of therapy and the strength of individuals inspired me to pursue this path. Every day, I am motivated by the smallest comfort I am able to bring to others through therapy. It is a privilege to be a part of someone's healing journey and to provide the support and guidance they need to navigate life's challenges.
Who I work with
I strongly believe in the importance of honoring and respecting individual experiences, and I am committed to providing a safe space where individuals can explore their unique struggles and strengths. Diversity and inclusivity are integral to my practice, and I welcome clients from all walks of life. I provide a culturally sensitive therapeutic environment for individuals to process their experiences, heal from past wounds, and reconnect with their inner strength and passions. Life transitions can be challenging, and I provide guidance and support as individuals navigate through these periods of change. Whether it's a career shift, relationship change, or any other significant life event, I help my clients explore their emotions, fears, and aspirations. Together, we develop coping strategies and discover opportunities for growth and personal transformation. Additionally, I have done training on somatic experiencing and am continuing to make efforts towards becoming a somatic experiencing practitioner. I have specialized in working with marginalized communities, creative artists, athletes, nightlife industry professionals and corporate professionals.

Working With Me
Therapy with me is characterized by an open, non-judgmental, and patient approach. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where people can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with their whole and true selves and to fully create a space where you don’t feel the need to mask your emotions or unique qualities. I believe in building a trusting therapeutic relationship and collaborating with people to tailor the therapy process to their specific needs and goals. While therapy can be deep and introspective, it can also be a space for giggles and lightness. If appropriate, I integrate alternative forms of movement therapy and somatic experience, allowing clients to explore the mind-body connection.
