Why I became a therapist

From an early age, I knew I wanted to spend my life helping people, and for 15+ years that was my focus working in the nonprofit world. The transition to becoming a therapist was sparked by the need I saw on both a professional and personal level to invest in mental health and wellness. My goal is to help people work through their challenges so that they can live their most fulfilling, authentic lives. Whether you are navigating relationships, experiencing grief and loss, making big life changes, or making your way through past trauma, I am here to provide a safe place and an encouraging ear.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, religious trauma, grief, and the profound challenges that come with the heaviness of life. With a warm, affirming approach, I understand the importance of creating a safe space where clients from all backgrounds and identities can explore their unique experiences and find healing. With a deep commitment to inclusivity, I welcome clients from diverse cultural, spiritual, and personal identities, fostering an environment where clients can feel respected and heard. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals facing infertility, understanding the emotional toll it can take on relationships and self-identity. I utilize a blend of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s needs, encouraging exploration, growth, and healing in order to invite clients to confront their pain while also celebrating their strengths and victories, no matter how small.
