About
“I celebrate my clients’ radically authentic selves and love helping clients explore their own identity.”

Why I became a therapist
I have always been fascinated with human relationships and emotions, and have studied both closely throughout my education and work in research. Through this work, I realized that I wanted to understand people on a more individual and personal level. I believe in the power of connection and community, and I want my career to serve my community. My goal is to help my clients foster healthy relationships and a deeper understanding of their emotions. I am an optimist who sees the good in everyone and believes that everyone has the potential to grow!

Who I work with
I enjoy working with clients of all ages from children to adolescents, and adults. I received my first masters degree in developmental psychology and I am well equipped to help children and/or families navigate emotion regulation and emotional development. Through my training as a marriage and family therapist I am also specialized in working with couples and families, however I also work with individuals! In my work with adults and couples, I believe that fostering an understanding of ourselves and our loved ones is essential for healthy relationships. As a queer therapist, I am passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ folks. I celebrate my clients’ radically authentic selves and love helping clients explore their own identity. I also celebrate neurodiversity and am passionate about working with clients with diagnosed and/or self-identified autism/ADHD. I can help neurodiverse clients navigate their social relationships, and have a special interest in working with couples where one or both partners are neurodiverse. Additionally, I am working towards a certificate in sex therapy, so clients working with me can expect kink, poly, and sex worker affirming care. I also love video games and online relationships. I believe that video games can be therapeutic as they provide an excellent outlet for emotions, exploration, and creativity. I understand the nuances of online relationships and can help my clients navigate both the online and in person social world.

Working With Me
I take a solutions focused and client centered approach to therapy. I view my client as the expert and emphasize clients’ autonomy. I take a systemic relational approach to therapy, thus I consider the impacts of relationships, culture, power, and larger societal systems on your life. I focus on my clients goals and how we can take small steps towards them. I encourage my clients to express their emotions and provide an empathetic and accepting space for my clients.
