About
“My treatment style is relational, playful, and encouraging.”
Why I became a therapist
I’ve always been curious how it is that two people can experience a similar situation, and end up with completely different thoughts, beliefs, and interpretations of that event. When one combines this dynamic with the myriad of differing life situations people experience, we are left with a fascinating question: What makes us human, and how do we integrate our objective and subjective experiences in a way that will ideally make us happier, more content, and more engaged with life? I became a therapist to help people better delve into some of these important and meaningful questions, as they relate to their individual lives.
Who I work with
I enjoy any way we might think about your life’s purpose and meaning together. Specifically, I work with adults of all ages on a variety of issues ranging from clinical issues like anxiety and depression to general experiences like relationship concerns, self-esteem, life transitions, family of origin dynamics, and grief/loss. I am proud to support and work on issues with people who are LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, immigrants, and otherwise from historically marginalized populations.

Working With Me
Our work together will help you develop practical insights that can lead you to cope, adapt, and change. My treatment style is relational, playful, and encouraging. I like employing humor in my work with clients when appropriate. Although I believe therapy is a serious business, I also believe that it doesn’t always necessarily need to be serious. I work to make my clients feel comfortable in their sessions so they can bring their most authentic selves to the table. In such an environment, we can better get to the task of looking at how you relate to yourself, the world, and others. Together we will explore these dynamics to gain insight that will help you feel better, act better, and show up better in every part of your life.
