About
Why I Became a Therapist
My own experience in therapy has given me insight, hope, and stability in my life that inspired me to want to provide this same experience for others. My journey to becoming a therapist is also influenced by my work in the nonprofit sector and a desire to empower and lift up others in all that I do with an anti-oppressive, strengths-based lens.
Who I Work With
I believe that therapy can be a fulfilling and empowering experience for people in all walks of life. I work with individuals in late adolescence, young adults, and adults who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, other anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, career wounds, family challenges, burnout, and other situational symptoms and challenges. No reason is too trivial or too big to bring to therapy. I strive to provide a warm, welcoming, and unconditionally supportive environment for all of my clients.

Working With ME
My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I believe in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. Each person is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of my clients. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and narrative therapy, to provide a holistic and personalized approach to treatment. I believe that a supportive therapeutic relationship built on trust and mutual respect can be helpful to gain insight on emotional and behavioral patterns, decrease feelings of shame, identify values and strengths, and develop coping strategies to navigate life's challenges.
